Subdirectory problem with Godaddy

  • Hi.
I’ve a godaddy deluxe hosting account. I installed a wp blog on a subfolder. But when I try to make another domain that I also have with them, point to my blog thru the “Domain Managment”.
It doesn’t work. When you type my adress: http://puntosuspensivos.net it sends you to the root folder instead of the one I asked it to.
I know it’s not a thing with Godaddy as other webpages (non-wp) that I have, work just fine.
Can anybody tell me what to do to go around tis problem?
    My blog’s address is:
    http://www.mongepontremoli.com/puntos
    and I want
    http://puntosuspensivos.net
    to point to it.
    Thanks

Login to the blog and change the settings on the Settings->General screen to have the correct URLs.

A WordPress blog has a fixed location. If you get to it through some other URL, it will redirect you to whatever it thinks the correct one should be.

    ups!
Thanks a lot, it’s finally working!!!. I tried this with the 2.3 version and it didn’t work, so it never occured to me to try with the 2.5.
    :-S
