Subdirectories Visit Site 404 error

I am trying to set up a new website with subdirectories (because GoDaddy doesn’t allow subdomains unless you’re on a dedicated server) I’ve gotten to the point where I just don’t understand what it is I need to be doing. I can access the site dashboard and admin menus but the visit site produces a 404 error.

At this point I would love to just hire someone to set this up for me. I have the ability to transfer the site to Dreamhost if I want maybe that could give me subdomain options but seriously someone please just login to my stuff and fix it for me!!!!

I’m just not a coder.
