# Subcategories not syncing correctly

 * I have sync setting set to square, product categories are not syncing as subcategories,
   they are only being synced as top level categories. Also the products are no 
   longer in them.
 * For example I have a product in Clothing > Bottoms
 * But in Woo the product is only in Clothing, and not in bottoms.
 * I see it is possible to create sub-categories and assign products into multiple
   categories in [Square](https://squareup.com/help/au/en/article/6875-adding-items-and-categories-to-square-online-store)
   so why is this not syncing correctly

 * This is expected as Square allows only one category per product. If your product
   in WooCommerce has several categories or sub-categories, only the first one in
   alphabetical order will be synced to Square.
