# sub-site registration

 * I’m using a form for registration on sub-sites and using the email address as
   username. However, if the user is already registered on one of the other sub-
   sites he gets a message that his email address is already in use. Can someone
   help me with a way to add existing users to sub-sites? I’m not a coder so please
   be specific if the fix involves code.

 * The user is created on the network, not per site. You can add them per site via
   the users menu, or have them auto added: [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multisite-user-management/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multisite-user-management/)

 * what are you using for the form? It should be checking if the user exisits, and
   if so, just add them.
