Sub-menus on IE 8

    Hi, when viewing the site in IE 8, long sub-menus (drop-downs) are hard to select and appear to be loading behind the main text of the website.

    Would this be caused by the z-index in .main-navigation li ul and main-navigation li ul::after? Could I just increase the z-index to a higher value? Or is there something else causing the problem?
