    Hello Tom !

I come back to you because I noticed that the sub-menus of the top menu do not work in tablet. It refers to the link of the main menu and not to the link of the submenu. And I searched, I disabled plugins, I removed all my css code that I had added, but I have no results. I do not understand. Do you have any idea of what can lead to this?

    Thank you !

I am using Acer One 10.

I might be using the “click the parent item” in noindex mode, waiting to understand what’s going on with the “hover” mode, if it’s possible to know.

I wrote to Yoast support to see if it is possible to make a breadcrumb Home> Link> submenu without making a parent page. We never know 🙂

Hmm, I’m testing on an iPad with no issues.

I’ll try to get my hands on an Acer so I can test.

If you’re able to find another tablet to try on, that would be helpful as well.

    Thanks!

I also did some tests with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. And the problem is also the same.

Any chance you can get your hands on an iPad just to test? It would be helpful to know whether it’s only happening on Android devices.

I tried on the ipad, and it works very well ! So on my side, it’s on Android that it does not work (Acer and Samsung). In this case, it is almost impossible to use the submenu in “hover” mode.

    Hi there,

Sorry for the delay! Was a tough one.

I believe I have this fixed in GP 2.3: https://github.com/tomusborne/generatepress/commit/745c311a29570ccbed7dcdb454fabb37b3e72679

It would be awesome if you could give it a test?

If so, replace the contents of the wp-content/themes/generatepress/js/a11y.min.js file with this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tomusborne/generatepress/release/2.3/js/a11y.min.js

Let me know if you need more info 🙂

Hello, sorry for the delay too.
Thank you for the answer. So I’m going to test it and I’ll let you know.

    Tom,

So I did what you told me, and it solved the problem. We can now click on the sub-menu. On the other hand, there is another problem. Still on tablet with this sub-menu, when I click on the arrow to scroll down the sub-menu, the sub-menu unfolds and disappears almost immediately. There is no time to click on any part of the sub-menu. However, when you click on “Ma séance” instead of the arrow, the sub-menu works well. It seems that it is with the arrow that this problem arises 🙂
