    Hi:

    Successfully styling the menu but minor problem: I would like sub-menu trigger triangles to appear to the left of the page/parent name and therefore chose Sub Menu > Trigger Icon > position > left and that works and looks good until the page narrows to about 650 px – then the icons slide overtop the page names. The names are short – there’s plenty of room available.

    There doesn’t seem to be any padding or margin setting to ensure the trigger icons have space after them:

    ICON (space) Page One

    When the window narrows the “Page one” starts moving left and eventually slides under “ICON”.

    I’m thinking there’s a setting somewhere I’m missing or misunderstanding?

    I have the menu set to be at least 75% of screen width and I’ve selected word wrapping, fwiw.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey there,

    Can you provide a site URL so I can check as it’s hard to say without a site to look at.

    Please advise

    Sorry – I’m working in MAMP so it’s not live. But I’m using the plugin on a live site.

    This raises another question. If you go to this site: https://www.thdesigninc.com/starter-three and narrow the page til the mobile menu appears you’ll see the trigger triangle on the right. I went in and changed it to “left” and updated several times and cleared the cache and it still appears on the right. I checked with my host and they cleared their cache and the trigger triangle still appears on the right, although it is set to “left”.

    So, 2 birds with one stone here – short of re-setting the defaults, is there a way to clear the plugin cache? Or is there some other setting that might keep me from being able to move the trigger from the right to the left? What happens if I “rebuild the database?”

    I originally set it to the right because when I set the trigger on the left it would overlap the words when the page narrowed so I gave up and set the trigger to “right”.

    Thanks!

    Hey there,

    There is no caching from my plugin. From what I can see in the CSS output you still have it set to right so I don’t know why it’s not updating, have you double checked you are changing the correct option.

    In terms of padding for moving the sub-arrow to the left, the below should work:

    #responsive-menu-container #responsive-menu li.responsive-menu-item a {
       padding-left: 60px;
    }

    I hope that helps
