# sub menu doesn't appear – hover not working

    i’m using max mega menu in two areas of my site, but none of the subitems

 * i have increased the number of variables, as it has reallya lot of buttons, but
   still it does not work.can you help please?

 * Hi tom,
    I would like to share the solution however i have no idea of what was
   made, because i had to ask a programmer to help me since your answer never came…
 * i thought the problema was this: [http://www.maxmegamenu.com/documentation/faqs/menu-item-limit/](http://www.maxmegamenu.com/documentation/faqs/menu-item-limit/)
   
   so i asked him to check it, and he did change somnething, but still it wasn’t
   working, so he had to change the css and something more..
