Styling Twitter Comments Differently than Normal WP Comments (3 posts)

Is there any way to differentiate Twitter "Comments" from a standard comment? We would like to style the Tweets as Comments differently than the standard WP comments.

It doesn't look like the Twitter as Comments plugin adds any kind of class to target a style change/differentiation.

You can switch them to be shown as trackbacks, change your comments template to add a class to trackbacks and then style from there. Not as simple but it works.

Yeah, Zoe, I had the same thought. Unfortunately, it wasn't a solution that was going to work for us -- the trackback and pingbacks don't have all the information as the comment type, like the Twitter thumbnail. We're exploring other avenues to separate the Tweets from the normal comments.

    Good thought though.

    Thanks,
    Ryan
