[Resolved] styling multiple contact forms

  • I have two contact forms and i want to style them differently.
    At the moment they are both getting the rule from:
    .wpcf7 input[type=”text”], .wpcf7 textarea

    The contact form i have in the footer is in a div called .footer and then in another div called .left

    How would i go about adding a different style to that form?

    .footer . left .wpcf7 input[type=”text”], .wpcf7 textarea ??

    @takayukister

    .footer .left .wpcf7 input[type="text"], .footer .left .wpcf7 textarea

    I’m sure Takayuki-san, the CF7 developer, knows more about this than I ever will, but I do this slightly differently.

    In the style.css file, I included two styles, .scholarship_appl and .chapter_activity and each contains the formatting elements I want for each of my two forms. In the form design itself, wrap each form in a <div> </div> pair. Using my form names, my opening <div> tags are <div class = “chapter_activity”> and <div class = “scholarship_appl”>. They both end with </div>.

    Make sure that whatever else you do, no spaces are allowed in the name you use in the style.css file and then in the form design.

    Hope this helps
