[Resolved] Styling Form: Colors/Lines/Grouping Fields

  • I’ve used this fantastic plug-in for years and love it, but I can’t figure out how to achieve the styling I want for a specific form. The form is at: http://candorbenefits.com/get-a-quote/. I would like to have multiple entry fields on the same line (e.g. Applicant Birthday on the same line as Applicant Gender), but I don’t think that’s possible. So doing something else to group the related fields is acceptable. I’ve tried adding a horizontal line <hr /> as HTML after certain fields, but it adds too much white space. I tried adding CSS to color the field names of related fields (e.g. color:green;), but that did not work and scrambled the form (probably because I’ve got the style set to Labels Left – a bug?). Any suggestion on how to group related fields?

This form does not use templates, so you cannot make them side by side.

But you can group fields with fieldsets.

Thanks, Mike. You and your plug-in are absolutely fantastic. I can’t believe you answered so quickly, and I’m thrilled with the solution – just didn’t know about fieldsets. I indicated the topic is resolved.
