    Hello! I’m making a custom theme, and I’m having difficulty changing the (1) font type, (2) font size, and (3) font color of the date display. The link to my site is here.

    :html:
    <div class=”datemeta”>
    <?php the_time(‘F jS, Y’) ?>
    </div>

    :css:
    .datemeta{
    font-family: Georgia,”Times New Roman”, serif;
    font-size: 40px;
    }

    Any reply is greatly appreciated. thanx in advance!

  • You should be able to add color:<color> to datemeta and change the color of the text.

    But why is your stylesheet not in wp-content/themes/<themename>? The stylesheet you are loading is in the root directory.

    Hey, apljdi! thanx for the reply. I’m using the stylesheet in the root directory, because I’m trying to integrate the blog with the main webpage. So, instead of having two separate css, I decided to use one (blog is a subdomain of the main page).

    Anyways, I’m still a newbie and learning, but thanx to you I always able to get it fixed. thanx! 🙂
