Styling and function disappears after moving site to a different host

    Hello,

    we have transferred sites and now that we have moved from wordpress drevoakovani.cz to drevoobchod.cz via FTP, allowed permissions and rights, nextend accordion menu settings still disappear. When you navigate in the administration wp-admin.php and go to accordion menus and select a menu, you can not click some functions. The whole styling is broken and buttons do not work. The whole css styling is gone. Apparently it has something to do with permissions with FTP or something like that? I have forgotten what it was.

    So the issue is: When I am editing an accordion menu, the css styling in the administration page is gone, most buttons are not functioning and it is all messed up.

    Hi @sebastiendub!

    Your problem will be, that the wp-content/cache/ folder is not writable on your server. You should follow this documentation:
    https://accordion-menu.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1041-messed-up-backend
    so just change that folder’s permissions to 777 and that should fix your problem!

    If something still would be wrong, please send me a link to where I can see our menu!

    If the cache folder’s permissions are fine, it is also common, that not all the files were moved during moving the site. In this case you could go to your Plugins list, delete your Accordion Menu and install it again. You don’t have to worry about your menus, they will stay!

    Hey, Gabor,

    thank you for your help. We figured out that changing permissions via Total Commander was not enough. When we tried FileZilla, all worked out well. Thanks again.
