I just installed WP Forms and I am trying to style the form, like the text color for one. I figured out how to do it by adding CSS to the page by using “Customize” in WordPress.

Is there a better way to do it? I don’t understand how to use the “Form CSS Class” box in the WP Forms editor.

    Hi @skahle,

Currently we don’t have a style editor for our forms. However there are two options for customizing the appearance of your forms: writing custom CSS or using a non-coding plugin called CSS Hero (which creates CSS for you).

The alternative option, if you’re willing, is to create your own CSS. If you’d like more help with custom CSS please feel free to reach out.

    Thanks!

OK, Thanks, but your video shows that you CAN WP Forms Overview

What is the “CSS Classes” box for under Advanced Options?

As I said, I was able to do it to a certain extent, by adding Additional CSS using “Customize” in WP. I can send screenshots of this too. My question was, is there a better way to do this?

    Hi @skahle,

The ‘CSS Classes’ field under Advanced Options allows you to add a custom CSS class, such as my-custom-class, to a field. You can add CSS code for that CSS class to your site.

You might already be aware of this, but in case it helps, here’s a tutorial from WPBeginner on how to add custom CSS code to your site.

Currently we don’t have other options to style the form. I’ve made a note of the feature request and we’ll keep it on our radar as we plan out our roadmap for the future.

    Thanks!
