Style/Theme switcher?

I’m thinking of making a site that can change it’s color scheme. This isn’t the hard part… It’s the fact that the slide show will use very large background images on the home page…

This is the problem. As I’m thinking of making these dynamic slides using custom post types. However, when a style is switched the slides will need to match the color scheme!!

I was thinking of making it actually change page templates when a style switch is clicked, or switching to a diff. theme?

Any ideas or help would be great!
