I went and logged in to my blog. Under ‘presentations’ an opened ‘themes’. Under ‘available themes’ I saw the listings of the new downloaded themes and all are listed ‘style sheet is missing’ on all 4. I checked my host files and the sheets are there. Nothing was left out of the ftp transfer. What happend and how do I fix it. ( I downloaded these files 2x and the same thing happened each time). There’s a wp-content/themes folder. * What version of wp are you using? You have them installed in: `http://homedesignsense.com/ blog/wp-content/themes/1024px-10/1024px-10/` * That is not according to the directions. I went into blog/wp-content/themes and uploaded. * I followed your directions and still stylesheet missing. You still have 2 “1024” folders: * wp-content/themes/1024px-10/1024px-10/ * If you’re using FTP, then do this: * Connect to your sever. Direct yourself to the “wp-content/themes/1024px-10/1024px- 10/”. Delete both “1024px-10” folders. Surf yourself – on the server – to the“ wp-content/themes” folder. There should be NO “1024px-10” folder there. On your hard drive, find your downloaded copy of the 1024px theme. Make sure you’re at the “1024px” folder – and BE SURE there’s not another “1024px” folder *inside* that one. If there is, go to the one that’s inside. Upload it into your “themes” folder. You FTP tree should now have *one* “1024px-10” folder in it. If you double- click on it to open it, and there’s another “1024px-10” folder in there, start over. You should be able to open up the themes/1024px-10 folder and see files: style.css, index.php, that sort of thing. NOT another folder. * I’m guessing your downloaded copy has a secondary tier in there, and when you upload, it’s uploading both folders. You don’t want that – you want your file tree to look like so: * /wp-content/themes/1024px-10/ * It doesn’t. I guess when they were unzipped it created an outside folder. I deleted the outside folder and saved the ones ith the files. It was the old folder-in-a-folder trick! Never thought, but I guess un- zipping it caued the extra folder. * The themes are fine and available for me to use. * Everyone.
