# Stylesheet not working in WordPress

 * Ok guys..I just installed a new theme, and am having trouble getting the site
   to reflect the changes I make in the stylesheet. I just need a simple change 
   made such as changing the backgound color in two sections of the site. I went
   to Appearance>Theme editor>style.css and changed the background color to #ffffff,
   but it’s not taking effect on the site. I have been struggling with this now 
   for the past 24hrs. Please help.

 * It was a custom made theme.

   BTW, I know how to make edits in the css file and so forth, BUT when I do the
   changes DON’T take effect. NOTHING happens. I’ve tried EVERYTHING I can but to
   no avail. I just wanna change the header background and slideshow back, that’s
   it! PLEASE HELP!
