Stylesheet is missing (style.css not in root)

    I’m trying to upload a theme and am getting the ‘Stylesheet is missing.’ error.

    The root folder for my theme has three folders:
    languages
    lib
    pages

    in the pages folder there are other folders and in those folders there is a style.css file.

    There isn’t a style.css file in lib folder of my theme. Does there have to be?
