Stylesheet is missing.

    I have uploaded a theme and the presentation says Stylesheet missing.

    Can someone help me please.

    9 times out of 10, this is related to how you unzipped the archive on your PC before uploading. Sometimes you get an extra layer of folders in the theme folder.

    When you upload it, you want it to look like:
    wp-content/themes/MyThemeName/style.css

    If you have the extra folder in there, you end up with:
    wp-content/themes/MyThemeName/myThemeName/style.css

    If you eliminate that extra directory level, WP will find the theme’s style.

    1 times out of 10 you found a very old theme from before WP’s 1.5 theming system.
