# Stylesheet error

 * Hello,
 * I am getting the below error while uploading some themes.
 * “Unpacking the package…
 * Installing the theme…
 * The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
 * Theme install failed.”
 * Its not like I don’t have style.css files in them, but instead of in theme folder
   it is in css folder which is a subfolders for themes.
 * Please help me this topic.

 * I have downloaded them from various file sharing sites for free ?
    I don’t think
   this would affect the theme functions, Please provide any solution.

 * Try downloading a theme from this site to your local computer and then installing
   it via upload to see if you have the same problem.
 * These forums only support themes from the repository on this site – so if there’s
   a problem with a theme from elsewhere, you’ll need to ask the developer/vendor.
 * We also don’t recommend using themes from other places – here’s why:

 * I had uploaded the themes from local computers, but problem is still the same.
   Can’t I change the files location n all ?, Please provide any solution to get
   rid of this as i have my projects in tangle.
