 * Hi there,
 * Firstly, thanks for your purchase!
 * So it sounds like this might be a caching issue – can you try clearing your browser
   cache, and then seeing if things look different? You might also try checking
   out your site with a browser that you know you’ve never used before, and seeing
   if there’s a difference.
 * Also, sometimes people think that a StylePak will change the look and feel of
   a book’s “Book View” (the popup window one sees when clicking on a book, when
   actually StylePaks only change the look and feel of the “Library View” (The view
   with multiple books that one sees before clicking on an individual title).
 * If you’re still having trouble, please shoot me an e-mail to [techsupport@wpbooklist.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/stylepack-dont-work/techsupport@wpbooklist.com?output_format=md),
   and I’ll take a look.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi,
 * i tried clear the cache, and another browser but still the same style.
 * i’m talking about the library view, not book view.
 * when i open demo links, all the link have the same design too :
 * [https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-1/](https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-1/)

   [https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-2/](https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-2/)
   [https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-3/](https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-3/)
   [https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-4/](https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-4/)
   [https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-5/](https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-5/)
   [https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-6/](https://wpbooklist.com/index.php/library-stylepak-6/)
 * can you check the demo link?

 * you fixed the demos, how do you fix it?

 * Hi Nisar,
 * So the demos on the website are a completely separate issue that shouldn’t have
   anything to do with your issue (thanks for pointing that out by the way!)
 * Unfortunately if your website is offline, there’s not a whole lot I can do to
   help out – I really need to get at your website and have a look to see what’s
   going on.
 * All I can tell you is that, once a StylePak is uploaded via the ‘Upload a New
   Library StylePak’ button on the ‘Library StylePaks’ tab of the ‘Display Options’
   menu page, the stylepak should be uploaded to the wp-content/uploads/wpbooklist/
   stylepaks/library folder.
 * Honestly the only other thing that comes to my mind would be to make positive
   that your browser cache is cleared, but you said you’ve already done that so…
 * If there’s any way you can take your site live to let me have a look, I’d be
   glad to!

 * Hi Jake,
 * i purchased template file, it don’t work too.
 * i checked the stylepack folder and template folder, the css file is inside.
 * in the wpbooklist menu, the stylepack and template are active.
 * i tried another theme, same problem.
    i tried to deactivate all extentions, same
   problem.
 * i’m using the last wordpress version and i didn’t modify css.
 * so i think the bug is in your plugin

 * [@forwardcreation](https://wordpress.org/support/users/forwardcreation/) Serious
   question here, are you asking people to contact you directly to obtain login
   access to their site?

 * Also this.
 * > i bought stylepack 2, uploaded and activated.
 * For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their
   site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.
 * As the author is aware, commercial products are [not supported in these forums](https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/#do-not-post-about-commercial-products).
   I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

 * I’ll leave the topic open long enough for the author to reply then I am closing
   this.

 * [@jdembowski](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jdembowski/), Yes, I’m trying
   to connect with the user outside of these WordPress forums to then follow-up
   with their support question, which in this case sounds like it would require
   me personally to take a look at their site – I definitely didn’t want to ask
   for any personal info of the user’s here on the forums, as obviously this is
   a pretty public space for potentially sensitive info like that… when someone
   here on the forums contacts me and wants me to personally look at their issue,
   to include logging into their site if need be, what should my official response
   be so as to not get flagged or whatnot – should I simply post something like,“
   For support with purchased WPBookList products, please visit wpbooklist.com or
   e-mail [techsupport@wpbooklist.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/stylepack-dont-work/techsupport@wpbooklist.com?output_format=md).
   Commercial product support is not allowed in these forums.” and then close the
   topic and leave it at that? I ask not only because I want to do this right with
   WPBookList, but I’m working on another plugin that will have commercial addons
   like WPBookList does as well, so I want to make sure I know exactly what to do
   and not do for the future.
 * Thanks for clarifying!

 * > which in this case sounds like it would require me personally to take a look
   > at their site
 * If you’re doing that in these forums, meaning your asking people to contact you
   so you can get that access then you need to re-evaluate if you want to keep your
   plugin here. That’s a step too far and do not send people from these forums just
   for that. See below.
 * > i’ll give him my login access
 * You should not. Developers get this when they ask for that.
 * > I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you
   > mean well but please _never ask for credentials on these forums._

   > **Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us
   > asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.**
 * Followed by this.
 * > There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site
   > is not one of them. That’s going too far.
    - Ask for a link to the [http://pastebin.com/](http://pastebin.com/) log of
      the user’s web server error log.
    - Ask the user to create and post a link to their `phpinfo();` output.
    - Ask the user to install the [Health Check plugin](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/health-check/)
      and get the data that way.
    - Walk the user through [enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.](https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG#WP_DEBUG_LOG_and_WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY)
    - Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other
      plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
    - Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.
 * You get the idea.
 * Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all
   users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that
   will get you into real trouble in these forums.
 * Since this is a customer, I am now closing this topic.
