 * Thanks for the quick reply on my last question! 🙂
 * Are the “duplicate” folders in the ftp client or the wordpress? I deleted the
   new template folder in the ftp and tried uploading it again. Everything is still
   the same. I’m getting and error saying the syle sheet is missing. I really don’t
   know where to look.

 * you need to look into the missing theme name ,
 * it’s in : wp-content/themes/
 * search for the name of your theme and be sure that the css file is inside .
 * usually those kind of error happen when the css is not accessible directly..
 * when unzipping and inside the zip file there is a folder instead of the files…

 * carmenmich – presumably, you downloaded the theme’s zip file to your desktop 
   and unzipped it.
 * That unzipped folder is where you want to look initially. Get it squared away
   there and then re-FTP it to your server.

 * I definitely unzipped the folder. And the file clearly says style.css in the 
   folder and in the directory. This has really been a challenging experience. I
   have really been making an effort. It’s not working. Please help!! I have spent
   the whole week trying to load a template theme.

 * How about posting here the actual path to the style.css file, complete? That 
   is, from /home/username/public_html/ etc?
 * In other words, this is what it should look like (server path, NOT URL!): /home/
   username/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/theme-name/style.css
 * and that might vary, depending on if your host uses www or htdocs or some other
   variant….

 * FINALLY!!!!!! YYYESSSSS!!! I DID IT!!! The problem was when I was sent the files
   over from my hard drive to the server file I needed to click to the second folder
   and send that over, NOT the main template folder. So when I double clicked to
   open the second theme folder in my hard drive in the FTP client, it worked!!!
   Problem solved!!! Thanks so much WP team and members for all your help.
