style sheet missing

  • I’m a total beginner and need some advise. For several years I have been using Suffusion for my site and it has worked perfectly. Within the past week the site stopped loading into any browser. A rep from the host server suggested that the theme may be corrupted and that I should reinstall Suffusion. On reinstall I get a “failed” message with a note saying the style sheet is missing.
    Any suggestions?

Hi @agmckee, you can try the following. If you are going to reinstall the theme, I would suggest to remove it totally and clear any cache from the browser. If you have any cache plugins installed make sure you clear them as well. Also make sure that you have totally deleted the theme from your server.

Then simply install the theme again and I am sure this would work. This is the simplest method to get it working again.

    I hope this helps you.

    Kind regards

I’ve removed all traces of Suffusion from the cache and browser. When I search the “Install Themes” tab the Suffusion theme has no “install now” tab but only an “update” tab.

Hi @agmckee what is in the update tab content? If you believe it belongs to Suffusion then delete it. Have you also run a check on your website to make sure it does not have a virus or it has not being hacked?

If none of the above is true, have you tried to install the theme again?

    Kind regards
