Style of marker, pulse marker

Is there any possibility to use another (own) style of marker?
This default one is to small when I use only “point view”, not whole track.
For example could I use any png or other (f.e. any “animate” pulse marker)?
First one from google 🙂 – looks good:

One more thing: could I change center point of map showed when user is offline (“Track missing from server response” or “No tracks to display.”) – I see always Eindhoven 🙂
