Style or Auto Resize Avatars to a Same Size for [authoravatars] Short Code

This plugin is very handy but the generated list with [authoravatars] short code is very sloppy and I can not find any way to make a style for it. On the other hand, As the uploaded user avatars are not in the same size, the short code [like avatar_size=80] is not useful because it does not resize all images in a specified size (For example 80×80 rectangular) and although they have a same width, they have not a same length.

Is there any way to force the generated avatars to be in a same size automatically? For example all of them will be resized to 80×80, 80×120, etc. or a way to better listing?
