    Hi there,

In the backend, creating a job includes the following option.

    Featured Listing
Featured listings will be sticky during searches, and can be styled differently.

I selected this for one such job but it doesn’t seem to have a specific class that allows me to style only featured listings.

Please see http://www.atlasandboots.com/remote-jobs/ as an example. The ‘Researcher’ job is featured and is indeed sticky but viewing source doesn’t show a specific class. I tried using li.job_position_featured as instructed here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/featured-job-checkbox-in-admin/ but this didn’t work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Kia

    Hey Kia!

Thanks for reaching out. Hm – it appears this might be related to your theme. Can you try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme temporarily to see if you are then able to see the stylings and change them?

Let me know how this goes.

    Anne

    Hi Anne,

    Thank you for your reply.

I tried changing to Twenty Sixteen (and also Twenty Seventeen) but the problem persists. I can’t see a ‘featured’ class being applied to the featured job. At the moment, I’m using a rather ugly hack where I’m getting the post class (post-25642) and styling that manually in the CSS.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Kia

Did you finally figure this out ? because I have the same problem

    Hi Exentric,

No, I didn’t. I stopped using WPJM as I had other unsolvable problems.

I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.

@exentric and @kiaseven sorry you didn’t get a faster response here. The class li.job_position_featured should allow you to style the listing can you post the CSS you are/were trying to use?

    Hi Jon,

Thank you but I swapped plugins as I had an issue with permalinks as well. I don’t have the CSS anymore.

    Kia
