• Namaste! LMS 0.9.9 installed. It looks simple to use. I have two test students enrolled in two test courses. I have both set to manually ‘mark’ assignments. I have gone into assignment submissions and ‘Approved’ them. But back in the admin pages the status of both students are still showing as ‘enrolled’ not ‘completed’.

Because their status is not updating properly the Certificates are not available to the students (when I log in as them).

I was disappointed because it looked so promising.

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Otherwise I will move on to testing a different LMS.

We have none of the problems you describe so it’s not possible to answer your question without having access to your admin panel.
If you want me to have a look feel free to email me access at admin[at]pimteam[dot]net

I have set up an account for you so that you can access the site. You will receive an email with the details. This is my firt time using Word Press so all is new.

I want to be able to set up assignments which cannot be completed without approval from the trainer (this is not working or I can’t find how to do it), sest up quizzes with marks of Competent or Not Yet Competent where competent is 100% correct and anything else is a fail. Need to be able to limit to 3 attempts with manual override/reset for further attempts.

Then I would like to issue certificates automatically once a trainer has marked and approved all coursework and exams (if any).

Would be happy to purchase the upgrade if I can get these essential functions working.
    Thanks.

Thanks, I noticed a problem with tb_show. Don’t have time to check properly now, so probably tomorrow. Please keep the admin account active for a while, I won’t mess anything in your blog.

For the quizzes with %-based grade you’ll need watupro, this functionality is not part of Namaste.

Thanks. There isn’t anything in there that matters. i was just trying it all out to start with.

I thought I might need the watupro version to do what I want with the grades. I appreciate your assistance with this.

When you have worked out what’s happening I’d like to know if I will have the same problem if I set up another site?

    Thanks again.

The thickbox problem is solved now, so in Students page you can click on In progress link to see what each student needs to to in order to complete each course. The problem will not appear in other installations because it’s fixed in version 1.0.

If you still think someone’s status is wrong, let me know which student in which course exactly.
