    error log states “business email is wrong”, this is not true. also the payment did go through.

    You must use your business email address in the Paypal settings area. Not merchant ID or something encrypted. We will make it support merchant ID in the next release.

    I’m sorry, you’ll have to figure it out yourself. We can’t investigate individual IPN issues.

    It is working now that I updated the IPN notification url to the site’s url in Paypal.

    I would suggest adding the sentence or two it would take to explain this on your website and/or wordpress.org plugin page, would probably clear up a lot of confusion.

    Actually you don’t have to do this – if your URL in Paypal was empty, it would use the URL that is passed dynamically. I couldn’t expect that you had another URL set up in Paypal.

    oh, ok. so my issue than was that I had another IPN url set up from a previous development site. So I could clear that out and leave it blank and it would work, cool.
