I am looking a student management solution in pods in which I want to put myself the data of students like –

    1. Students fess with options like student’s name, father’s name, class, class fees, total fees, vehicle fees, concession, scholarship etc. and that too with 3 cast wise like hindu , muslim and christian.

    2. I want to add info about their offline form submission with three options – submitted, processing and completed. (also with date )

And I want all these can be filtered out by search option and sort option. Like I only want to view how many forms are processed or completed. Or how many students remains to pay fees. I dont know how to do this complex thing in Pods. I know its all about custom fields but I dont know how because I am new with Pods. 🙂

I think this can be done in Pods but I need a little bit guidance. If Pods team can guide me then it would be very helpful for me. 🙂

Sorry, this was completely missed, I believe because you didn’t flag it as “not a support topic”.

What you’re requesting above is more of a Consulting or ‘how do I build this’ type of question. That’s outside the scope of what we provide at the Pods Framework as we don’t have the resources to do client work or consulting. You can build practically anything you can think of with Pods, but when you’re talking about an involved workflow system like you’ve described, it really all is very dependent on what skillset you bring to the project.

Pods makes it easy to register post types, add taxonomies and add relationships to connect content and we make it easy to display that content on the front end. While we do have forms and UI components, most of them are very dependent on your PHP knowledge. We have a very robust connection with Gravity Forms but you would be designing those forms.

What you’re discussing (filtering, sorting the admin area of WordPress) is not something included in our plugin, but you might be able to do that with Admin Columns Pro. Adding and filtering and sorting is all about taxonomy.

You’re welcome to bring that to the #jobs channel on our Slack Chat (https://pods.io/chat/) if you need help with that, but for most of this, it sounds like you’re going to be looking at a lot of stuff beyond Pods as well and that’s outside our support scope.
