The plugin is no longer working with AMP. I have disabled the AMP Plugin and it works.

    Hey @cuz74,

I apologize for the trouble you are facing with the AMP!

Actually, this is a confirmed bug between WPForms and AMP plugin, and our developers are aware of this issue.

I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime and we hope to fix this issue soon!

    Thanks!

    Hello @cuz74,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We released some AMP compatibility update in our 1.6.5 update. When you have some time, can you please update the plugin to the latest version 1.6.6, and let me know how it goes?

    Thanks!

    It is still not working.

Is this going to be addressed or should we start looking for other options besides WPForms?

It has been almost 3 months since I reported it. There are other posts that are older.

The error seems to be tied to :
    Line 254: Log.js

    > fn.apply(this.win.console, args)

log.js:254 [amp-form] Failed to parse response JSON: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

    Hello @cuz74,

When you have some time, can you please share a screenshot of the browser console when the form submission is getting stuck?

@sapphiregrp thanks for sharing the details. The Log.js is not a file from WPForms. It appears that there’s might be a conflict between the forms and the site theme or another plugin. To troubleshoot this, please try the steps described in our detailed guide on how to test for plugin/theme conflicts.

Thanks, and please let me know!

    Hi @cuz74,

    Thanks for sharing the screenshot!

It looks like there might be a plugin or the site theme is loading log.js since this is not a file from the WPForms Lite plugin, and it is not compatible with the AMP mode (AMP does not load JavaScript files by default).

To identify the conflicting plugin, please try the steps described in our detailed guide on how to test for plugin/theme conflicts.

    Hope this helps!

I contacted our theme provider and they were able to provide the following code to add to my child theme’s functions.php file:

    add_filter( ‘wpforms_is_amp’, ‘__return_true’ );

    It worked.

    Thank you for your help.
