Can You test the version from https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup to see if it works ?

    Hi,
I removed previous version and installed main one from github but still the same.
    Nothing shows in error logs.
I use hearinternet hosting in the UK, can set up temp account for you to test with access to control panel if that helps.
    Please let me know.

P.S. This blog is using WP 4.0.1 and backup was working before upgrade to 4.

It looks like my hosting provider was blocking it.
I had to change few settings: reduce server load to minimum and disable limitation of 2GB files.
It works like a charm now.

Other users who host with heartinternet in the uk might want to do the same.
