    Hi,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Could you try the following steps and let me know how your import goes?

    1. While on restoring database, leave it running for 15 minutes.
    2. After 15 minutes, open another tab and try to login to wp-admin with WP Admin username/password of the exported site
    3. Go to settings -> permalinks and save the permalink structure
At this point the website should be successfully migrated.

    i have same problem

even after 15 mins its still stuck.

NOT possible to log in wp-admin as i can see in my PHPmyAdmin that there is no USERS table.

    Hi saini2001,

I am sorry to hear that.
Did you use Find/Replace on export?
How large is the file you are importing?

This problem has been happening to many of us over the past few versions with no fix in sight. I tried everything support asked me to do and nothing worked. I just ended up using another plugin to handle the import, because for whatever reason, if this happens to you, there doesn’t seem to be a reliable way to correct it.

    Hi again Geekcheck,

    Thank you for your message.
Again, I was able to import your .wpress file on both my localhost (https://www.dropbox.com/s/djwjuf3pzwpyhdt/Screen%20Shot%202016-01-05%20at%2011.04.22%20PM.png?dl=0) and our site hosted with DigitalOcean (https://www.dropbox.com/s/gbjeb0iyh3yg9w7/Screen%20Shot%202016-01-23%20at%2011.26.17%20PM.png?dl=0).

I have replied to your support ticket asking what your mysql.connect_timeout is and if you could increase your max_execution_time to 400-500, but you never replied since January 9.

As I said, we are always happy to help you troubleshoot what the problem is from.

    Hi all,

Geekcheck’s point somehow makes sense to me. It is true that the past few versions have not solved the problems many users experience.

In my case first they were extremely helpful – and I praised them more than once for their outstanding support. Unfortunately, they could not solve the problem. Eventually they asked for my site’s access data for having a closer look at the matter, which first I did not want to submit for security reasons. After more unsuccessful attempts on their behalf I finally submitted access data as the site is a work in progress anyway.

Now I realise that was the biggest mistake ever because since then I have not heard from them in three weeks. I don’t expect immediate replies but after two weeks I politely asked if there were any news but to no avail. Another week passed which was followed by another email by me – but no response.

If there is an issue they have problems solving, they could have just mentioned it. I use the free version and would not have complained. But leaving you in the dark after having shown the upmost trust in them by handing over my access data is a shockingly bad policy.
Now, having been left deeply disappointed, I will change provider – and find another backup plugin.

PS: They often ask users to redirect an issue from their WP Forum to their support at servmask.com. Now, I wonder whether that is a very helpful attitude or simply a means of not having to reveal that problems cannot be solved.

    Marian,

I am very sorry but we already replied to your email as I mentioned that the engineer was unable to access your site using the IP address you provided. After that reply, we have never heard from you again.

I just searched your emails and there is none opening for us to reply.
I will be happy to have an engineer resolve the issue for you if you re-send the email to us.

    Thank you!

    Hi Pim,

I sent you another email using the established email thread, not changing anything. If you did not receive it, please drop me a line by using the email thread.

    Best,
    Marian
