 * Hi,
 * I’m currently using Yoast SEO plugin but have realised that I cannot add custom
   structured data to different pages.
 * And so, I started using another plugin – Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP–
   which also helps with mobile pages.
 * I would like to know if I can only use Yoast SEO to input different structured
   data for different pages.
 * Also, is it recommended for me to use YOAST with other plugins such as Schema&
   Structured Data for WP & AMP or Rank Math?

 * [@droyed](https://wordpress.org/support/users/droyed/) We’ve identified several
   concerns in your message and responded to each below:

 * You can specify what type of page or content your site’s page is with Yoast SEO.
   You configure the defaults for this setting in WordPress under **SEO>Search Appearance**,
   but you can also edit this on an individual page level in the Yoast metabox on
   the **‘Schema’** tab.
 * Also, all of our schema output can be changed, managed and extended. You can
   find our documentation for modifying the plugin’s schema output at the following
   link: [https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/api/](https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/api/)

 * We don’t typically recommend using other schema plugins with Yoast SEO, except
   if you have a specific reason to.

 * Thank you [@devnihil](https://wordpress.org/support/users/devnihil/)
 * I have a few follow up questions:
 * 1. I have two pages: Home page and About page. Should the ‘Home’ page have the
   Profile page type and ‘About me’ page have the About page type?
 * 2. How do I add other profile links to my schema markup? Currently Yoast provides
   only a handful of social links via WordPress user board.
 * 3. Thanks for providing links to Yoast developers page. I’m not an IT person
   and am very new to SEO. Do you have any example or case scenarios that I can
   follow and learn?

 * 1. Yoast SEO automatically describes your pages using schema.org. This helps
   search engines to understand your website and your content. If you’d like to
   understand more about how this works, [you can read our guide on structured data](https://yoast.com/structured-data-schema-ultimate-guide/).
 * 2. There’s a feature request to add other profile links in Yoast SEO. Sadly,
   there’s no other way, for now, to add other social links via a dashboard except
   using other third-party plugins.
 * 3. We have an ultimate guide to understanding the structured data schema: [https://yoast.com/structured-data-schema-ultimate-guide/](https://yoast.com/structured-data-schema-ultimate-guide/)
 * We hope this helps.
