# Structure for linking pages

 * Hey,
 * Would someone mind explaining the wordpress structure for linking pages to me.
 * I’ve setup wordpress in a folder called wordpress and uploaded it to my hosting.
   If I have main nav links called about, contact etc etc and I want the URL to 
   be [http://www.mywebsite.com/about](http://www.mywebsite.com/about) etc etc. 
   How can I do this? At the moment my URL would be [http://www.mywebsite.com/wordpress/about](http://www.mywebsite.com/wordpress/about)
   which I think looks a bit rubbish!
 * Any advice on this would be great.
