  • Hello, Wonder if anyone can offer any suggestions to this issue we are having…

Top menu: BRANDS | FRAMES | SUNGLASSES

Products can be filtered by various attributes (gender, style, material etc).

    PROBLEM:
If a user selects a brand from the BRAND dropdown, he may still wish to filter by Frames/Sunglasses. Additionally, should a user select FRAMES from the main menu, he may want to filter by Brands. So, my question is, what do we set up as a product category, and what do we use as attributes?

The ideal scenario, as all three of the above need to be filter options, is to set them all as attributes, but then our menu system urls look like /?filter_product=234 and we can’t add text about the attributes.

    Keen to hear any ideas.
