strtolower on usernames causing issues

    @paosborne

    Hi,

    I am using the plugin and it mostly does what I want, however I have come across an issue with the bulk import tool.

    It appears that it forces the lowercasing of usernames:

    if (!$user OR (strtolower($user->user_login) != strtolower($username))) { // use strtolower!!!

    this causes me issues as I am using Kerberos authentication where the login is specified across my realm and AD domain in the form: login@KERBEROS.REALM .

    Now I can (for the moment) edit the plugin to fix this, however it would be immensely helpful if this were an option.

    I understand fully why it has been done however in my circumstances the user account creating is bulk imported and the authentication is fully automated via Kerberos so there is no human intervention to create things like: lOgin@myREAlm.WHERiAM which is I assume is what is being prevented.

    Thanks

    Paul
