Hi. Could you please shed some light on my TablePress issue? Facts for both DEV and QA environments: WP=4.4.2 and 4.5, Divi=2.5.9 and 2.7.3, TablePress=1.7 in both environments, IE11, PCs have same configurations, AD authentication plugin is use, multisite. We don’t have access to the back end database.

It works fine if me logging in as Super Admin and put hyperlinks inside TablePress contents. However, if a person with Admin account (not Super Admin) adds the links to the same table, when she saves it, it strips out all the links except the and the tags, no href. Please help. Our go live target is this Friday. Please let me know if you have further questions. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is the role of “Super Admin” on the Multisite. Only those possess the capability to add unfiltered HTML code to a site, see e.g. https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities#unfiltered_html

Regular users, including simple Administrators, are not allowed to use unfiltered HTML, but only a secure subset. Regular <a href="">...</a> should work just fine however.

    Regards,
    Tobias
