    Hello
It means that you remove IPTC metadata?
If it's right, I can't use your plugin because I need thoses informations to stay in the images...
    Could be an option?
    thanks

  2. Hi @pako69,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The WP Smush.it plugin only provides interface in the WordPress to the smush.it service provided by Yahoo. It optimizes images by calling Smush.it APIs so the functionality of it depends on the features provided by Yahoo Smush. It service. you will find more information about it on the following page.

    https://developer.yahoo.com/yslow/smushit/faq.html

Smush.it currently keeps all JPG metadata and exif (exchangeable image file format) information.

Please advise if you have more questions.

    Cheers,

    The faq doesn't mention iptc

  4. Hi @funsail,

Thanks for posting on the forum.

Yes it doesn't provide any information about IPTC metadata specifically but the FAQ section contains the following information.

Smush.it currently keeps all JPG metadata and exif (exchangeable image file format) information.

    Best Regards,
