[Resolved] Stripe plans?

  • I was using PMPro in test mode with Stripe, and I had 3 plans for subscribers. When I moved over to live, it seems like PMPro kept the plans and Stripe didn’t. Users are subscribing and paying the correct amount. When I go to edit customers in Stripe, it says “Plan 7djsifj (or whatever) does not exist”, which I assume is some plan id number designated inside of PMPro.

Do I recreate the same plans in Stripe (do I have to choose the same ID?) or how do I make sure Stripe has the same plans as are available to subscribe to in PMPro? Or does it not really matter that they’re in Stripe, too?

    Thanks!

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. PMP creates the plans on the fly and does not use Stripes internal plans. Instead it creates a new Stripe plan with each customer and then deletes it. This is done to maintain flexibility with billing and payments. Thanks again.

Interesting! Ok, thanks! If I were to create separate plans in Stripe, it wouldn’t affect anything else, correct?
