    Not sure which comments you mean. There are a few things that can cause this.

    Make sure you are running the latest version of the plugin. (1.7.3 removed the need for the Stripe Lite plugin if you were using that).

    The one remaining issue that still can cause this is other JavaScript errors (usually caused by other plugins/etc) on your checkout page. If JavaScript breaks before Stripe has a chance to use it to verify the CC, it acts this way. You have to fix the other JavaScript issue (or remove what is causing it) to get Stripe to work.

    FYI, I want to show a better error message when this happens. It’s slated for a future version.
