    Hi,

I love your plugin. Thank you very much for making a good free plugin.

But I want to translate it to portuguese and I’m having a hard time doing it.

I’m using loco translate, but after adding translation to the strings nothing changes.

I’ve tried manually translating some strings, I’ve tried to upload the translation from the wordpress translation repository, but strings keep the original value.

Also, this is only happening with this plugin, not others.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ricardo

    Hi @ricardoagp,

Is your WordPress dashboard set to Portuguese as well?

    Hi @ricardoagp,

I would guess changing your WordPress default language to the language you translate to will help.

To have an English Dashboard, and Portuguese content I think another plugin, like WPML or Polylang might help.

    Hi,

I totally understand that it’s hard to help on this subject and thank you for your patience.

The dashboard language is not the problem. I just want to get portuguese to the site visitor.

But, I tried that also and it doesn’t affect anything.

I’ve made a 1 min video if you want to see by yourself what I mean.

    Hi @ricardoagp,

You can change the cookie banner wording in Complianz – Cookie Banner – Edit.

I know the dashboard language is fine, but I think changing it to Portuguese might help in this instance, as Loco Translate should default to Portuguese as well.

Oh, I’m sorry for the time taken.

    I should explored bettter 🙂

    It’s on:

    Complianz – Cookie Banner – Opt-in

Never thought that “opt-in” would be the settings for the text.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi @ricardoagp,

Thanks, the reason this is under Opt-in is because you can change text between Opt-in and Opt-out if necessary. The Opt-out for examples available in Canada and other regions.

    regards Aert
