    Hi,
in wordfenceClass.php, line 2652 there is the message:
__('<strong>ERROR</strong>: The username or password you entered is incorrect. <a href="%2$s" title="Password Lost and Found">Lost your password</a>?')

That has no domain (default domain), so it is difficult to translate.

    Hi @greghy

To prevent this you can disable the option Don’t let WordPress reveal valid users in login errors in the Brute Force Protection section on the All Options page.

    Hi,
thanks. The fact is that I want the check on “Brute Force Protection”, but I want to be able to translate that string.

    Hi @greghy

We recommend that you don’t modify any of Wordfence core files but you can modify that text in a different language if you want to.

If you do, then please note that your changes will be over written on any updates of the Wordfence plugin.
