# String translation not working

 * Hello,
    First of all, thank you for a wonderful plugin. It really does wonders
   and more or less works perfectly. However, I do seem to have some problems with
   certain string translations. More concretely, the strings in the tabs after the
   post.

   Croatian comment section: [https://imgur.com/a/96ERP](https://imgur.com/a/96ERP)
 * Also, I am using footnotes plugin, at the translation of the string doesn’t work.

   But this is what I get on the website: [https://imgur.com/a/EWGdV](https://imgur.com/a/EWGdV)
 * I am using WordPress 4.9 with Hoffman theme. I tried disabling other plugins 
   and still nothing. Don’t know how to solve this issue.

 * You probably must translate strings in your theme or plugins. You can use the
   plugin Loco Translate to achieve this.

 * Hi Chouby,
 * Do you have some sort of link that explains sensibly how to integrate Loco and
   Polylang? I have tried googling it but haven’t found anything reliable. Can I
   do that from WordPress dashboard, or I need to download .mo file and upload it
   via FTP Client?
 * And I still don’t understand why footnotes aren’t translated, since PolyLang 
   sees that string?

 * You can install Loco Translate and translate theme from the dashboard. No need
   to download .mo files or upload them via FTP, Loco Translate does everything 
   for you.

 * Hi Jurica. Thank you, I have managed to translate everything now. But I still
   don’t know how to deal with the footnotes issue. Does anyone have an idea how
   to solve it?
