For that, you will have a install a small TablePress Extension that adds a sorting algorithm for numbers with the comma as the thousand separator: http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-sorting-plugins/

there is one that can add dropdown fields for each column: http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/
I don’t have one for more sophisticated filtering as in your link, unfortunately. For that, you would need to use the API functions of the DataTables JS library (which is what TablePress uses for the filtering) and develop a custom solution.
