Hi – I have just installed UpdraftPlus and on activating I get these error messages:

Strict Standards: Non-static method UpdraftPlus_Options::user_can_manage() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context on lines 1429, 1433

    and

Strict Standards: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method UpdraftPlus_Options::admin_init() should not be called statically on line 406

    Help!

    Hi,

Your PHP setup is configured to deliver warnings about coding style, to the web browser. That’s something you need to re-configure, or ask your web hosting company to tweak.

Having said that, I’ve just uploaded a new UpdraftPlus update (1.3.17) that conforms more regarding what PHP is complaining about and will produce less of these warnings. But I can’t promise to always do that.

Hi – thanks for the fast response. I assume I can do that in the PHP.ini file?

It varies quite a lot, but that’s the place to start.

If you find UpdraftPlus useful, then please consider a donation … we average less than $0.01 per download so far! 🙁
