Stray word appears on EVERy page and post I create

    Hi all,

    For some reason the word ‘On’ is appearing at the beginning of most pages and post that I create on both of my sites, but it DOESN’T appear in the actual text of the page and post. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so this one little word is driving me batty!

    I don’t know where it’s hiding to remove it. I’ve tried changing themes. I’ve deleted the pages or posts and recreated them, but it’s still appearing. I don’t know what’s forcing it to appear.

    Any thoughts where this oddity might be hiding?

    * My Home and Bookstore pages are prime examples of what I’m talking about.
    Site2: thoughts.rheasbookshelf.com
    * Pretty much any post on the front page…

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Glad I could help. When you do locate the problem plugin, a short note here letting people know which plugin was responsible could be very helpful for future users.

    That was quick to find – and I have the plugin on both websites so it makes sense now…

    The plug in is PrintPress (Free)

    I’m going to reach out to the creator and see if he has any ideas why it’s generating a random ON through the sites.
