My client writes his WordPress posts in visual editor mode in Safari on an iPad Pro.
As he is writing, he reports that text suddenly becomes ‘highlighted’.
Looking at the resultant posts, it seems that ` tags get inserted as he writes, by accident. So

Client writing normally when suddenly (code) this text appears ‘highlighted'(/code)

My client finds this very difficult and feels there is a ‘bug’ in the website.

Any ideas how he might have triggered this, or has anyone seen the same ‘bug’? I’m not able to reproduce it on my iPad. And in the visual editor, there is no ‘code’ button he could accidentally press. I am stumped as to what might be causing this.

I suspect bad typing rather than a bug.

So do I Stephen, but how is it possible to type CODE tags by accident, or even on purpose, in the visual editor? If I can find out I can tell him not to do it!!
