for some reason, after the last update, i'm getting :before & :after styles inside the html, just after the panel div tags..

I know what pseudo elements are. I just don't understand why wordpress would have them all over the html in the 2013 theme...

Well, the CSS looks likes its using them as a Clear attribute... I'm confused why they just don't use the "Clear" attribute without adding "content''
The content is required to correctly clear floats.
