Support » Fixing WordPress » Strange redirect when I try to log in

  • Here’s a question from a painfully new user, with minimal server skills:

WP has been working marvelously for me for months. One day I was logged in as admin, and was changing some settings (never again). Under “options” I changed the blog location to “http://teachable.org/blog/index.php” from its former location of “http://teachable.org/blog”.

Now, I can’t log in, and the blog appears as just plain text, with no theme. When I go here to try and log in:
    http://teachable.org/blog/wp-admin/

the URI is redirected to :
    http://teachable.org/blog/index.php/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Fblog%2Fwp-admin%2F

and I cannot log in. Also, and I guess related, my theme does not appear, just the basic text.

Any help is very welcome, thanks.
