Strange problem with video upload

    I’m using wordpress 2.7.1
    Plugin Flash Video Player 3.1

    When I’m trying to upload .flv video in admin panel using add media buttons in Mozilla Firefox 3.0.10 it works fine.
    Nevertheless doing same steps in IE 8 or IE 7 or Chrome or Opera it gives blank rectangle instead of video icon after uploading video and it does not show video player in the post on the web-site.

    Attention question:
    Why does it work fine in Mozilla and does not work in other browsers?
    I’ve tried from different PCs, same situation. Sometimes even Mozilla has similar problem with video uploading.

    Solved.

    wp-includes/functions.php – function wp_check_filetype()
    adding to the $mimes array:
    ‘flv’ => ‘video/x-flv’
